We’re Very Close!
First, thank you all for sticking with us throughout this journey. We’re excited to share that we are very close to completing production on the first shipment of the Glyph.
A Bit of Tolerance Trouble
During assembly checks, we identified an issue with the fit between the mass-produced support panels and the bottom shells. These two parts require extremely tight tolerances, and even a small stack-up can lead to interference. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened with the first batch of bottom shells.
When this occurs, there are two options:- Force the parts together—a quick fix that risks deforming the shells, compromising quality and long-term durability.
- Correct the issue the right way—which means re-cutting the shells, removing coatings, re-polishing, re-coating, and re-engraving.
Because our goal has always been to deliver a high-quality, precision-built product, we chose the second path.
Roughly half of the bottom shells required full rework. The remaining unprocessed half were able to be cut to the updated dimensions immediately, ensuring perfect fit without interference. This refinement guarantees that all Glyph bottom shells—now and in the future, including any colorway swaps—will fit consistently without issue.
We’re currently performing individual fit assessments on each bottom shell to verify quality and consistency across every unit.

Our manufacturing partners anticipate completing all reworked shells in early December. Once those are finished, they will be the final piece needed before full assembly and shipping.
Timeline Update
We’re in the home stretch. While we’re extremely close, the final phase of quality assurance introduces a bit of variability, so we’re not yet able to announce exact shipping dates. However, we expect to lock those in within the next few weeks.
Once the shipment dates are finalized, we will send out the backer survey to confirm shipping information.
Thank you again for your patience, enthusiasm, and support. We’re at the finish line—and we can’t wait for you to finally get your hands on the Glyph.
